The Artist Bloc Celebrates 12 Years of Impact and Announces Transition

​

Greensboro, NC — After 12 dynamic and impactful years, The Artist Bloc will be closing its doors to the physical location, marking the completion of a bold and successful chapter in Greensboro’s creative community.

​

Founded with the mission to provide a platform for artists to create, collaborate, and connect, The Artist Bloc has fulfilled every goal it set out to achieve—and more. From exhibitions and performances to community-driven programming, the venue has played a meaningful role in shaping the local arts landscape and supporting countless artists along the way.

​

This transition is not rooted in loss, but in evolution. The owners are moving forward in a new direction, carrying with them the experience, relationships, and momentum built over more than a decade of work.

​

While The Artist Bloc concludes its operations at the physical location, the broader mission continues. TAB Art Center, the nonprofit arm, will remain open and active, continuing its commitment to arts access, education, and community engagement.

The Artist Bloc extends its deepest thanks to everyone who contributed to its journey and invites the community to celebrate the legacy of what has been built together over the past 12 years.
